NYSE wanted to improve their fraud detection process. With their
old system, analysts spent a majority of their time retrieving and
organizing data, instead of investigating data.
The Electronic Ink Solution
By studying the actual work process and analyzing the goals of
the specialist surveillance personnel, Electronic Ink designed a
data visualization-rich system to replace spreadsheet information
with visually compelling data displays. These presentations
consolidated volumes of data and presented it in ways that allowed
for pattern recognition, analysis, trend-spotting and fraud
detection.
